audible master caution/warning alarm

While spending a lot of time today using the backhoe, I got to thinking about the posibility that something would go wrong, and though the gages would show it, I wouldn't be looking at the gages. There is an alert symbol on my 4520 that is supposed to get you to read the display. Has anyone hacked that function to provide an audible signal?

That is a good idea.Well worth looking into. Might be able to get the alarm Caterpillar uses on all their equipment. You will not mistaken it for anything else. Quite loud and will get your attention straight away.
