I'm looking at your progress pics of the new house and see your birdfeeder. I just have to ask where you got it at? My F-I-L builds those EXACTLY like yours. He lives on Richland Chambers lake now but used to live here in Donie. He has sold a ton of them at the Astrodome in craft sells, etc. On some of them he has stickers that say something like "My country workshop" or something to the effect. Is it his maybe?

I saw that bird feeder in his pictures of the house construction. It looks very similar to my neighbors feeder. They bought it locally here in MI. Why not post the question in AlanL's original thread. I do not think anyone will jump on you for that. :)

Sorry just checked this. That bird feeder came from a vendor at the Canton TX 1st Monday trades day, about 4 years ago. It is made of cedar.

I thought about that Ron but didn't want to abduct his thread.

Alan- He has sold some there also. He used the one gallon juice jugs on some, beer part balls on the others. Sometime I'll post a pic of mine so you can see the similarity. I agree that lots of people have that design.

This feeder, while attractive is not operable. The problem is that they used a plastic litre bottle for the bird seed, and it has since pretty much fallen apart and there is not way to get in there to fix it without tearing it apart.
