attaching something to the 3 point

So I have the Kioti RX7320 that has the outside 3 point control lever. It is probably operator error. I thought this control lever works like the loader controller in that you raise or lower and when you let go of the lever it stops whether going up or down. This lever seems to let you go all the way up or all the way down, with no stopping intermittently.

Am I doing something wrong here? ugh

Maybe it depends where your 3pt and draft control levers are set inside the cab?

Is the outside lever an inching lever and not a position control lever like the inside lever probably is? (most new tractors have position control levers).

An inching lever works like a rear remote without detents or float.

I am not familiar with your kioti, but many rear 3pt's with levers instead of buttons are directly tied to the position control lever in the cab. Try moving the lever just a wee little and the hitch should move a little. Moving the lever all up or all down will make the 3pt do the same. Treat it like the lever in the cab and wee what happens.

My dk45 has a lever that i can move to whatever level i want. Not just top and bottom. Not sure why yours is diffrent

My Kubota L2501, has a knob below the seat that can be turned either way, to adjust how fast/slow the 3 point will raise/drop. Maybe your tractor has something like that?
