This is my first time posting, although I have been lurking for about 2 months, and I must say this is a great site: very helpful. I bought my new TC33D a month a go and am very pleased with it.
I have a NH 451 sickle-bar mower that I would like to attach to this tractor. Attaching and adjusting this mower is anything but intuitive. Making love to an octopus might be easier! I have an operators manual for this model mower, but not the same year and there are some differences.
My question is - has anyone here attached this mower to a TC33D? If so, was it necessary to cut the ends off the stabilizer adjustment rods (about 4 inches). As this will be an irreversible move, I don't want to do it if I don't have to. Or can I accomplish the same by adjusting the lift cable length?
