Attaching a 3 point quickhitch to a skidsteer plate

I didn't want to hijack a thread below and confuse them. I am looking to find a blank skidsteer plate to do custom welding on like the 3 point quick hitch. The link below shows a commercial version of what I want to build, although if the plates are reasonable I may make a few quick detatch front end loader tools. Does anyone know where to buy the plates? I checked my dealer and they can order them for around $200 but it seems a bit high for a blank plate. I priced the item linked below and the dealer says it retails for $1000.
Even at $200 + $70 for hitch, there can't be $730 worth of weld and paint there.

I want to do the same thing this last summer and the most reasonably priced is the one made from Bradco. The price quoted directly from Bradco were:

1/4" thick - weight #75 - $160 + S/H
3/8" thick - weight #123 - $180+ S/H
Shipping was about $80 to IN

Bradco don't sell directly to consumer. You have to go through a distributor.
I did not check the price with ABC Groff. I did check the price through a local place and they were exactly the same from Bradco.

ATI also made one with 1/4" thick for a little higher. I am going to get the 3/8 thick from Bradco for $20 more than the 1/4

5-6 years ago I was able to buy bobcat attachment plates for $75. Those same plates are now just under $200. If you have a bobcat dealer or other skid steer dealer, they will probably have plates for sell.

I buy plates from A place on e-bay. Dirtworks I think.1/4 inch plate is $120+ freight.Search e-bay for skidsteer attachments.They have lots stuff & good pics for do-it yourselfers.
