Loader ASV SR-80 Alternator Diode in fuse panel help?

I still have the issue with te Tach and Hour Meter not working. I see from the last post it was due to a bad connection going into the alternator. I notice sometimes the Tach jumps a little when i start up the machine, so I thought it may be in the key switch, but from what I am reading in the thread, the key switch would not affect the Tach and Hour Meter. Any help is appreciated.
