so i went to test the relief pressure on the cushion valve on my chute rotator and could not get any change either with screw all the way in or out. And a fitting that had previously not been leaking was now leaking like a sieve.
So i pull the connections and inside it appears that some portion of the relief valve shaft extends into the threaded area that the #10 boss connector goes into so that the connector has bottomed out on the shaft and seems to have screwed it up. Does this make sense?
