John Deere should be a little concerned looking at some of the new combine/tractor technology coming out of Europe. This system could be a serious game changer especially in soil compaction.

Ukraine is the country of sleeping agricultural potential especially from technology point of view. The companies which will create machinery for them will prosper. And not only huge machines.

There are hardworking and creative people there, they love their fertile land, they know how to cultivate it. There are favorable geographical conditions in Ukraine with a stable comparatively warm continental climate.

If politics and wars would not interfere, this country would prosper better than Poland today. Ukraine as well as three other countries were feeding the former USSR.

Yes are that far behind and getting farther behind. We get what China makes for us. We are a nation of consumers, not producers. We are a nation of fast food, banks, ATM’s and bad highways. Most of Europe does not have problems with “right to repair“ issues like we do with JD. Instead of striving to be the best, we went to just sticking our national chest out bragging that we are the best and we are not.

I wouldnt want to live anywhere else, but the corruption is so saturated through everything, it makes me sick at times.

I have a personal commitment that my farm will be a better farm in 2022 than it was in 2021. Erosion control. Plant life that increases small game population. Improving structure efficiency. Improving equipment efficiency to minimize fuel use. Improving my personal health with more exercise. Otherwise, not much.

Bill Maher, spot on. I came from a Nordic country in the late 90's, and saw the bickering and squawking about silly stuff going on in this country. I've seen great decline just in the 24 years I've been here now. Wearing slippers and PJ's in public, reality shows........BS content on TV. Nobody knows their history......yeah, it is not looking great.
