As I hope you all recall, back before the first of the year FarmWithJunk started the Roll Call thread on tractors. In that thread Scott_Vt was pining after the Farmall Super C that ovrszd has in MO. I suggested, and many others chimed in, that we band together and move the tractor cross country for them. It was my understanding that ovrszd was in Iraq till the first of the year and I hope he is back safely and ready to part with the tractor. I am not sure how the best way to organize this is, since I am on the wrong side of MO to help directly. I do recall that the tractor does NOT run, so this will be an added challenge. Just remember what a great story this will be to tell you kids and grandkids...:D I desperately wish I had a way to start the journey, but have not found a way to make that possible yet.

That's pretty good. I'm just sitting here thinking how much neater it would be if the logistics were reversed -- the tractor was to be taken to MO while the buyer was still in Iraq so he would find it when he got home.

Afternoon Guys,
I am still interested in the Super C.

The last correspondence I had with Ovrszd was a couple of months ago. At that time I told him not to be compelled to let a tractor go that he may want to restore himself. He stated that was not the case, and he would be happy to give the tractor to me with the intension I would restore it at some point in time. At that time he was still in Iraq, and I wished him a safe remaining stay before he was able to return home. I have not spoke with him since that time.

Thats pretty much the story as it stands.

Along the same line, I was just thinking how wonderful it would be if Ovrszd didn't need to be in Iraq

Good luck where ever you are Ovrszd.
