Obvious you are a bitter socialist. In actuality, as economic structures evolve, the strong survive, the weak not so much.
Not difficult to understand that any business where you were employeed would be susceptible to closure, just thankful you were not employed at a major stock exchange.
Poorly run companies do not deserve a lifeline for survival, you live under a dark cloud, seeking excuses for self induced economic failures.
You neglected to self epitomize why 90+ percent of new pizza endeavors fail miserably. You erroneously expect the private sector to subsidize, support and reward bad brhavior,
Perhaps you feel the government should adopt failed business? We already have sufficient corporate welfare w/ banks that are too big to fail or
GE which pay almost zero taxes and manufacturers almost all their goods overseas with only administrative offices in the US.
Perhaps your list of defunct business are victims but many are victims of their own self- destruction.
If in your career, you managed to substitute self motivation with a healthy dose of self pity, you might have had an opportunity to label your life endeavors a success, but no, your are simply mired in a dismal history of failed decisions.
