The only relationship I have heard is that Kubota has sold Kioti old moldings of tractors that Kubota used to build in the 70's. But they are two completly different tractors. I have run across some Kioti dealers saying the parts from old Kubota's will fit Kioti's but I would not put any stock in that at all!!!!!

If I remember right Kioti is a Korean manufacturer and Kubota is a Japanese manufacturer. Of course some Kubota's are made here and several attachments are also manufactured in the U.S.

Donny , I don't know if your choice of words was quite correct . In fact I'll go as far as to say it was a poor choice of words,considering your original question /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
If it were me , I might say Kubota is built different than Kioti .Not necessarily better . It depends on your needs ,and expectations .
Both machines are pretty well built as far as that goes . They just have a different market strategy . All the best, John

I'll have to totally disagree with that one. I have an excavating co. I have big and small machines. Small ones include a Kubota B20 TLB and a Kiot LB1914 TLB.
I'll tell ya one thing I know the Kubota Parts guys REAL good.
I don't know if thats a good thing or not.
The Kioti guys I only see them for filters.

Look at the size of your axles, Lift cylinder diameters,Steering cylinders. PTO hp vs engine hp. Gauges and quality. Fuel tank.
Fuel shut offs for filter changes. Fender steel gauge. Rops bolts. Just a few. All in favor on the Kiotis Side.

nope! they are not the same tractor. and i can tell u that u may like kubota better but that does not necessailry mean they are better built. from the few kioti's i have seen they seem to be built ok and i would most ceartinly look at one if i was in the market for a new tractor. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
