A while back I posted on the 10% Lowe's military discount. Only learned about that by accident. It is very useful.
Now the same thing with Apple. I was buying a replacement cell phone cord at the Apple store. The employee noticed my USAA credit card and said do I have military ID or a VA card. Well no, I don't routinely carry my 50 year old VA card. Turns out there is a 10% discount.
So I went on their website, sure enough, there is a program you can enroll in after verifying military service.
I buy very little at Apple but still it is a nice thing to know about. I believe it started last year.
