Hi All, First time poster but a long-time reader here. I am 74 yrs. old married man and we have a small 25-acre piece of ground in Northwest Pennsylvania that we have owned, and hobby farmed since 1969. My wife and I now in 2026 have sent the last of our cows to be processed and are changing our use of the land. We still have a few chickens for our own use, and will continue to maintain our property as best we can. My wife has numerous fruit trees and does maintain a raised bed garden now that getting down and working a garden isn't too hard, but getting back up is a real chore. I just saw a posting about using a 3ph disc that I found very interesting and wanted to comment on but found out I apparently never did an introduction. So here it is.

I read your post and saw your info. I was thinking make up your mind, are you from North East or North West Pennsylvania? I didn’t know there was a town called North East. Welcome to the forum!

My parents in their 70s sold the farm to my nephew and they moved 2.5 miles away. Pa still swings by to help where he can. Nephew is in his early 40s. Keeping the farm in the family and as a farm is a good thing.
