Anyone with a Zetor 7441 or 8441

Just found the site as i was browsing for info about a Zetor proxima 7441 or 8441.

Does anyone have one and would you recommend? Are there any faults or things to watch out for?

The 7441 is 2005, 300 hours
the 8441 is 2006, 1500 hours

Both have loders and are basically priced the same.

I never considered a Zetor before, but while wrapping big bales at a clients farm he was driving a 7441, he liked it and it seemed a good buy.

I have an '04 since new. Heavy strong & simple. Made with easy access maintenance in mind. Very efficient on fuel so I've never bothered to measure it. Cab heat & AC is strong I run year round -30 to +95. Grammar seat is upscale german & cushy. Discount parts available online delivered to the barnyard cheap.. No warranty issues but did have the clutch slave cyl fail after 3-4 yrs. Part was $50 + overnight to the barn & took about 45 mins to install & bleed. Other was the rear window taken out by a rock. Fedex std del. brought a new one in a wooden crate to the barnyard, fraction of the cost of other tractor brands.

Thanks Barry, you are telling me what I want to hear. As a pure business purchase i would be spenting way too much for my farms turnover, but as we have our last tractor 35 years I think im allowed to splash out on it.

I'm also looking at a Zetor 7441. Where online do you order your parts? Are there cross references on filters through NAPA, etc? I had to replace the back window on my NH. Just the glass cost $300 and the attachments, screws, gaskets, etc. were almost $200. How much did your run?
