Anyone watch "Yellowstone" on the Paramount network?

Considering most everything on the boob tube is geared for a 5 year old, I find it all to be drivel and don't care to watch. Give me a good book instead.

I watched the first episode and it just looked like a modern soap opera to me. No more.

IMO...There are a lot worse shows on...the so called "reality" shows that are entirely scripted are the worst...

When it comes to really crappy shows...Dick Cavett once said :
"As long as people will accept crap, it will be financially profitable to dispense it."

To those who haven't watched it YET, it is addictive. We didn't start until this fall when I saw a clip on YouTube of John Dutton and trespassers. There was nothing else on so we started. Dang it, we got hooked.

Beth is seriously evil. "Well Beth, what are you going to do today?" "I'm going to work, (under breath) and ruin some lives!"

Then Jimmy, the vet, and the horse. My wife laughed until she couldn't get her breath.

Yeah, don't watch this with kids around.

I try to watch these series with my wife once in a while and find myself laughing my ass off. It’s like watching fantasy made up for todays snowflakes.
I tried to watch about 10 minutes of something called “Mayor of Easton” or something like that and after about 10 minutes, I politely excused myself and said I have to clean out my socks drawer.

Outside of a little news and sports, TV is pure garbage.

You are so right. It's been forever since I've seen a good comedy skit or a good series. I think "Last Man Standing" and "Blacklist" were the last of the Mohicians. The media is too "woke" and too politically correct to do anything funny or interesting. TV was better in the 1950's than it is today. Oh, yeah. I enjoyed "Boston Legal" until it went to you know where in a hand basket.

I'm still a fan of Yellowstone and fully intend on seeing it through, but NOT impressed with season 5. What they have done with Beth is just getting ridiculous. She is now the Howard Stern of the wild west. Yuck.
