Hello I am like a lot of other land owners I have a small 30 HP 4x4 tractor bush hog boom pole Etc. What I do not have is any idea about these Tree Puller and saws that hook up on the 3 point hitch or to the front end of a skid steer any idea? I have about 40 acres I am clearing up in sections and wanted an idea if anyone had an idea?
I am looking at purchasing a high flow skid steer if I can find the right one I want but I am willing to purchase the tree puller type attachment as I am not doing this job all at once so the attachment will be sitting for a while. I had thought about doing the perimeter section with a dozer again sections of 10 acres and fencing it in and turning goats and pigs into the 10 acre lot and clearing it as they eat and I get to it. I have seen what hogs can do in a closed area but I admit if I go the pig route I may start eating the occasional hog and there goes half my work force. I also like goats as well. Any ideas on any good equipment ideas I am open. I do need a skid steer I do some saw mill lumber and I am thinking the skid steer will work out better than my current tractor does dragging logs out. Adios and thanks
