never have but always wanted to. as often as i change the plugs on mine i should .lol my plugs are still brand new when i change them . i change the plugs every 75 hours or every oil change.

Tried the Splitfire several years ago in my race car. IMHO they were no better than the Nipondenso plugs I had been using and they were twice the cost. I noticed no increase in performance or RPM.

This is just another gimmick having the split point. Different metal tips (steel vs platinum) are another matter. But the shape of the Y has no benefit.


It's interesting that they show a neat picture with the spark only going to one electrode. Is the other one "resting"??? Do they take turns hundreds of times per second and that it why it doesn't wear out so fast?? If that were true, we would see plugs with 12 way tips that last over 2 million miles.
