Anyone use JD RFM?

I will be purchsing a slightly used NH TC18 in a couple weeks, along with possibly a used JD 60'' RFM and used 48'' Howard tiller. Is the JD mower fairly heavy duty (don't know the model)? Will it give me a nice finished cut? I have heard good things on here about the Howard tillers. Anyone own one of these, and how has it treated you?
