Looking at getting a cordless grease gun, and I was not finding a ton of reviews on the newer Lincoln. My 2nd choice would likely be a Milwaukee, but I don't have any of their larger tools, and that gun costs a fair amount more. Thanks too all who respond with helpful info.

I don't know about the Lincold. I recently bought the DeWalt 20v with charger and battery for $199. It works really well. All my tools are Makita but they don't offer one.

I went with the Milwaukee, works great, simply because the batteries could be used with other cordless tools. I have a couple drills and a 1/2" impact wrench and 5 batteries so I've always got one charged. You will find you are much more likely to grease equipment when it's easy.

Mine quit after only a few uses and I haven't gotten to fixing it yet as my 40 year old Alemite still works fine as long as I don't mind pumping it.

Friend of mine gave me a Lincoln compressed-air driven grease gun new in the package. It never worked - dead right out of the box. That is my only experience with Lincoln's QC.

I've got the 18v Milwaukee and love it.

Don't know about the Lincoln but I got a DeWalt 20V max and couldn't be happier with it. It was expensive but worth it for the work it saves me in getting all of the many grease fittings on the tractor taken care of on a regular basis. It works just that much better with a locknlube tip on it.

I bought the air Lincoln first and really liked it and then got the 12V Lincoln and it has been great too.

I'm waiting on Ryobi to release a grease gun. Have over a half dozen One+ batteries & a pile of chargers to go with my huge pile of tools.

Those batteries make up over a third of the cost of the unit.

If you get the Milwaukee you can use the battery an charger with other tools.
