I have a Sears lawn sweeper that I pull behind my B2620. It's a PITA. Using the rope to dump. Does anyone know of a 3 pt or pull behind that doesn't cost too much (Just bought a Wallenstein chipper) so the tractor budget is limited. There's got to be a better way. This year we haven't been able to cut as often as usual due to the liquid sunshine we've been getting

I have the orange Agri-Fab sweeper. Works great in years like this as I use it nearly each time I mow. Normally I leave the lawn cuttings for the worms but this year there's just too much of the green stuff. This sweeper keeps rolling around turns, other one I had kept dragging one wheel - it was a real big PITA. But this one is different, but pulling the long arm to dump requires me to get off the seat, but no still biggie. BX24

I sweep stuff onto my lawn all the time. I just use a broom.

The Sears one that I have is very similar to the Agri-fab, Geared wheels that drag and wreck the lawn when one gets stuck. Instead of a rope yours has a handle. I am looking for something a little more robust and user friendly. I cut about 7 acres at a time, so the dumping is pretty frequent.

Amazingly, this one doesn't drag and wreck the yard, like the last one. But I couldn't imagine sweeping 7 acres with anything other than a crew that I could supervise!

I use a Brinley-Hardy I got in a fall sale at Home Depot for $150. They make the one for John Deere so I figured it would be OK.

It's great and does an excellent and idiot proof job. It only gets used when i'm under the duress of too much grass such as in the spring or a year like this one. Last year I didn't use at all and this year I've used it four times to generally rake my 2 acres of lawn. Works great and I'd give it two thumbs up.

I would even be happy with an easy to dump(not get off the seat) grass catcher or vacuum if that is an option.

In my Brinley from a couple posts earlier you stay in the seat and pull a piece of rope that dumps the collected grass.

Since they make several models (my old one was also Agri-Fab), my current sweeper is the 44" model Products > 44" Lawn Sweeper sold by TSC and others. It doesn't suck. My old one did.

I have an Agrifab I pull behind the quad for hasty leaf clean up in the fall, if I turn too tight of a radius it will slid the inner most wheel, particularly if its wet. Other than that, I've been happy with it...estate sale, like new, 38", $40.00. about 10 years ago.

I'm not really sure where should this go, and if I missed something, I appologize in advance.
I'm not a big landowner; actually, I have a garden and a lawn that I'm taking care of. Recently I've been considering to get a lawn sweeper. But, since I don't own a tractor, I was wondering if those push lawn sweepers are any good. This Agri Fab has caught my attention, so can anyone tell me if it's worth the money. Do they actually do what is promised in all the comercials?
Thanks all

I have a Brinly pull type that I pull with my zero turn mowers and it does a fantastic job. I don't know that I would want to push one around though if I had more than a few hundred square feet to clean especially if you have hills like I do. I huff and puff just walking up some of them.

Using a push lawn sweeper would mean you could skip visits to the gym. It would be a serious cardio workout.

Agrifab is generally considered a mass market item. It would be OK for a small area and not a lot of use or abuse. Brinly is probably a better quality but not sure if they make a push model.

Bought an Agri-fab from tractor supply last spring to sweep thatch after using a towed thatch rake. The grass was very light and dry.

Brought the sweeper home, assembled it in about 45 minutes, and started sweeping the lawn. Lot of problems with it: 1. height-adjustment lever kept slipping off its mark, causing it to drop to lowest point. 2. Wheels kept skipping and they dragged and marked the lawn. The wheel gears are plastic, and many reviews say they strip easy and are expensive to replace. 3. Metal bar that forms the top of the collection bag bent when I dumped it for the third time.

I rinsed it off with a hose and brought it back for a full refund. I liked it for the first 20 minutes, then it was junk.

I am going to say it again: Company CEOs and MBAs are lowering the quality of their products by trying to save just a few more cents.

I had one that I used to tow behind my ATV. It worked well but wasn't practical for my yard so I sold it.

That looks nice and I want one, but you need PTO and a mower deck to make that work.

I have a Parker they are a bit pricey but work great. I used to stress about letting the lawn get to long because i would have to rake it, not anymore just hook up the Parker and in 10min done. SUBURBANITE® TURF SWEEPER - MESH or SOLID BOTTOM

Yes, I have used a Parker and they are the absolute Cadillac of the raking business. And boy, do they cost it. But there is none finer.
