My trailer that I bought in December has increased in value by over $3500 just because of the lumber on the deck!
I just redid a 70" x 14.5' deck with 2x for $285 out the door through Lowes. If I had to redeck my new one at current lumber prices it would be more than I paid for the whole trailer.
Your lucky. I live where most of the lumber is harvested and milled and sent to the States and an 8 foot 2x4 is over $9.00 here.I just redid a 70" x 14.5' deck with 2x for $285 out the door through Lowes.
Standard building use sizes are crazy here as well. I had to get creative with ground contact pressure treated 2x10's and 2x8's which where comparatively cheaper at 16' lengths than any other sizes.Your lucky. your anecdotes certainly date you.Generac probably sold out because everyone has been scared to death the world is going to end.
I think trailers are suffering from reduced production from supply chain issues and labor shortages. In some states employees can make more money staying home than working for small businesses building trailers.
