I just added a quick hitch to my Kubota and the two times I've used it I've inadvertently leaned against the top link when attaching the pto. The result is two ruined shirts with grease on them. I'm wondering if there is some type of cover that is made to keep the operator from getting greasy? Something along the line of the shock covers used on a snowmobile?

Maybe some old inner tube? You could just wear crappy cloths like I do when doing tractor work, you already have a start with two shirts.

If you park the tractor inside, simply remove all the grease,, and enjoy it,,
If you want to keep your top link greased,, go to Tractor Supply and get a new cheap top link to use, instead,,
the ones they sell do not need greased, they are plated.

Put the greased top link in the shed,, hanging on a nail,,

My Dad always kept a cutoff pants leg on his, zip tied at one end so he could pull it up to adjust

You could dry a cheap bicycle inner tube, cut to length. Fitted foam pipe insulation of a larger diameter may be a thought.

Lord love a duck. I've had manual top links - now a hydraulic top link. Nothing I would want to lean an expensive dress shirt against. But, when I go out to use my tractor I wear work clothes. A little grease, here or there, will always wash out.

I assume your a CPA. Take those “ruined” work shirts and wear them on contractors discount day at your office :)

Tax write off for the shirt and for the custom graphics work I would hope.

Almost forgot. After you create and figure out those contractor discount days let me know :)

I don't think it's possible to do much tractor work and keep your clothes clean. Even if you find a cover for the center link that won't tangle in the PTO, something else will come along to mess up your clothes. It's easier and cheaper to do as mentioned above and wear crappy ones.

I would have to see if I even have any clothes that don't have grease stains on them.
