Anyone remove there cab yet?? "F" series

Got a Toolcat here that might need an alternator. Service manual has me removing the cab to replace the alt. Looks like a real pain in the you know what. Anyone remove a cab yet?? interested in your thoughts. Does and don'ts.:confused3:

I looked at our 5610 today, it looks like there is removable plate under the passenger seat.

Don't know if you can get to the alternator that way.

I think I have to replace alternator on my 2012 5600.
Any tips?

Does the F series have the kubota engine? It looks like you can remove the G series alt with the Doosan right out the right side access door.

Any update on this? I think my F series may need an alternator.
