Anyone make a 3pt hitch Seeder teh kind you sit on?

I've seen the big store-bought Seeders but I'm loooking to make a small scale version where I have someone with a bucket of seeds and they sit in a seat off the 3 pt hitch and this 'Seeder' makes a hole for the seed then fills it after the seed has been hand planted.

Are you talking about seeds or seedlings? A planter or a transplanter?

Planting Garlic. the seeds are directional so low to the ground seats would be best for hand planting. 8-12" spacing, 2" hole and a way to cover the seed

So, you are talking about planting garlic cloves rather than true seed, right?

If you are looking for ideas and images, search for "mechanical transplanters." You may find a used transplanter intended for another crop/other crops that you can modify for your purpose.

You must be planning to grow a lot of garlic.
