Anyone live near Mt. Redoubt?

I've been reading reports that the USGS is predicting that Mt. Redoubt [Alaska] is about to erupt as a volcano. It looks to be in the Lake Clark National Park. Doesn't appear to be much civiization nearby, but my knowlege of Alaskan geography is poor. It has blown before, so maybe Alaskans know what to expect. Seems that geologists are recording earthquakes around the mountain almost continuously - - so they are saying it could blow in a matter of days or weeks.

One of our neighbors is visiting her kids in Alaska near Mt. Redoubt. They have gas masks ready.
