Anyone know who makes a good 5gal hand pump?

Hi all,

Just starting to get info together for my 50hr oil and tranny change /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

Anyone know who makes a decent hand pump for a 5gal bucket, I tried my local auto parts store, but they looked like the $11.00 special /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

I'd like to get a decent one to keep for a while.

Ray most of the pumps that I see were made for 55 gallon drums although I am sure they could be used with a 5 gallon bucket.

The only 5 gal. pump that I could find was at TSC. Use this part number for a search TSC # 3050305 I don't know how it would hold up.

I do have a aluminum heavy duty pump sold by Multi-Seal that was designed to pump liquid tire sealant. It fits a 5 gallon pail. It cost $70.00 but is very well made. If that is more up your alley pm me and I'll supply you with a toll free number to call to get one delivered.

I don't have 50hrs yet, I only have around 21 hrs right now, I'm just one of those nuts that likes to plan a head and have all my ducks in a row /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

I tend to use lincoln products since our local fuel/oil supplier either has what I want in stock or can order it. Some of their stuff gets a little spendy, but it's good equipment.
