Alternator. It is a rebadged Iseki. The electrical is Mitsubishi. I've been to NAPA, the local Checker's (Shucks) chain store, the Mitsubishi dealership, the Mitsubishi heavy equipment repair facilities, the John Deere, and the Kobota dealerships. It's been a no-go.

Locally, there's no Iseki dealerships around here.

You might try a Cub Cadet dealership as they sell the Mitsubishi badged as a Cub Cadets.

Satoh also used Mitsubishi electrical components. I had a Satoh 370D parts tractor but the electrical was no good.

Good luck!

Jim Perlik has been great to get me whatever parts I need. Derrick at rainbow distributors in Hawaii is good too. He's the only Iseki dealer in the US. (I think.) Send me a pm if you need contact info.

I just thought of another thing. You mentioned "consumer" parts stores, but have you tried an actual motor rebuilder. I had my Iseki starter re-built twice at two different motor shops. Both locations had all the parts on the shelf. I'd imagine your alternator and charging parts wouldn't be much different.

I did last week. He thinks he found one in Alabama and ordered it for me. We'll see this week if it's the right one or not. I think I have another possibility; I found a regulator that looks like the same regulator, but the plug is different. It has the same number of wires. If this regulator that's been ordered isn't the same, I'll swap the plug and see if that'll work.
