Anyone know where I can get weight for my DK-50? I want to get a trailer...

Hello all, Been a long time since I was here asking questions so I thought I'd return.

I just got a new to me truck and I'm planning for a trailer to haul my DK-50.

So I have a DK-50, front loader, bucket, and loaded rear tires (RV antifreeze in one, and water & kerosene I think in the other - Long story about how that happened so we'll skip it).

I found a reference saying the tractor itself was just under 4,000lbs, and the loader was about 1,500 LBS.

When registering my 2010 F350 they gave me a GCVW of 15,000 max, and an empty weight of 6,200.

I'd like to be accurate and plan accordingly so I can be law abiding.

You need a 10K tandem axle trailer, but for an F-350 I would consider a 12K trailer.
If you are not hauling for commercial/business reasons a 12K build rated trailer should be legal in your state.

Makes sense.

My issue is I'm trying to figure out actual weights so I know what is the max I can load, and I can't get the tractor weighed until AFTER I get it on a trailer...

I've don some looking, but the web has the current version tractor and loader, not my old one...

According to tractordata, just the tractor would be 3,902 assuming ROPS on a 2007+ model DK50SE

Do you know the model of the loader?

Estimating weight of loaded tires to add 503lbs per tire if they are 14.9x24/8 like tractordata says. Obviously not perfect as they aren't filled with rimguard but this should give you a high number.

I see in your signature your loader is the KL401, say 1284lbs

I assume the 2nd weight listed is for full of all the liquids (fuel, oil, hyd fluid, water) so I used 4354 + 1284 +1006 and got 6644 lbs. which leaves me up to 2156 for trailer weight!
