Anyone know the differences between these 2 engines. swappable?

Hi.. I have a 1610d with a 3t75u engine that I fear may have a cracked block. water in the oil, oil beads in the radiator. though I am going to have the head checked out for sure before looking for an engine. I just replaced the head gasket. got it oriented and torqued correctly. still same problem. was worth a shot. just found a Ym226 with a 3t75HA engine in it about 10 miles from my house. Anyone know if these engines are swappable? 3000.00 obo. for the ym226 with tiller.

I don't know whether they would swap or not. Curious what is wrong with the 226?

Your head could be warped. What leads you to believe the block might be bad? Possible freeze?

Don't know it means anything but I know the 226 is a sleeved engine (cylinder liners) and Hoye does not show liners for the 1610 so maybe it doesn't have them.

A good tiller is worth $500+
