Anyone hittin their stride with hay?

My hay guy finished his 4th cutting. I picked up my final rolls this weekend. He has everything he owns full of hay, rolls and squares. He will cut one new field for mulch hay this week, squares for road work. He has never had more the 3 cuttings in a year. And the horse hay looks great.

We haven't had the rainfall here to amount to squat. Drizzling today, amazing. Had an early frost and that took care of the beans too. All in all a bad year here all around.

Never heard of any road company using hay. Wheat straw certainly.
