Anyone having problems with power-trac web site?

I was looking at it last thursday and today the web page is not displayed. Tried search engines web addres nothing. Are they still in buisness?

Yes, they're still in business. Their site seems to be having server problems the last few days...

Looks like their web site is down. It's happened before, and no doubt will happen again. It's not uncommon for small business sites to go down. They can't afford the redundant equipment and routes needed to provide protection from the occasional outage. Even big business and governments that have all the backups go down once in awhile.

They'll probably be back up tomorrow.

Unless you have a specific need for the "true backhoe" instead of the "mini-hoe" then I'd recommend the 1430 over the 2430. The 1430 has a much lower center of gravity and will get work in places that the 2430 will not...

I have just looked over PTs updated website, and yes, their prices have incresed substantially on some items. I am sure that most of the price increases are shipping costs of raw materials. I have seen a major spike in the cost of doing business this year not only in shipping, but in the cost of fuel. I have had to increase my prices as well just to maintain my bottom line, so I sure feel their pain. This will be the first year that I do not offer a discount winter rate on labor! /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

FYI, that price increase on Power Tracs went into effect July 1st...
