Grapple anyone have experience with CID grapples?

   / anyone have experience with CID grapples? #21  
I have a root grapple from them and am very pleased. I got the standard as it's plenty heavy duty enough for what I do and what my tractor can do. I figured if I was gonna break it -- better it break than my tractor. They are good folks to work with -

Sounds like you have a wagon, not a trailer. Just pull it close to the spot you need it and load it with your tractor. Then you can still use your bucket to take the saw home. JC

yes...stupid me didn't know the difference...but I had such a hard time finding what I needed in a cart that I took what I could get and only after the fact realized the problems. Can't really figure out why anyone bothers to make a wagon anyway...
I'm working on some modifications, like everything else, you buy something, and then spend 2x the time and 5x the money 'adapting' it!

I think that is the same one I have coming. I understand it weighs 470 pounds. So it is certainly heavier than the other root grapples mentioned, but I didn't think (at least ( hope) that the 200 extra pounds won't be such a penalty. For me I think the bucket will actually help, but we'll see...
