Anyone have any idea the value of a Ferguson non runner with 5ft brush hog?

I found one, Im guessing its a 20 or 30, not even sure about the model, It looks kind of like a 8N.
It has the high low shifter but does not run.

The tires are supposed to be in good condition but I have not yet seen it in person so I really dont have much info.

Any idea what the value could be?

If all the sheet metal is there and straight; and u can turn the engine by hand I agree with fried1765. If u can’t turn the engine by hand $200. The reason I say this is that if the engine is locked up u will need to spend about $1000 to rebuild just the engine. And then u will find another $1000 of parts and reconditioning that needs to be done. Unless it is a labor of love u will never recoup the time that u put in to the restoration. I love my 2N but it’s only real productivity comes from mowing otherwise it truly is not worth its weight in scrap. Once again, I do love my 2N (just in case she overheard this discussion).

Good running 8N’s and Ferguson’s of that era bring about $2000, so a non-runner maybe $800-$1000. As said before make sure the motor can be rotated by hand. They only have 6:1 compression so you can often rotate the fan by hand and it’ll turn over the motor.

Ya, a running 8n around here is $2k. A friend sold his a year or 2 ago for that & it was 8n good shape with a loader.

If it's not running, chances are it's not just 1 easy fix issue or the owner would have sorted it out themselves.

Those old flat heads have replaceable cylinder liners. Complete rebuild kits with liners, pistons, rings, bearings, etc run about $300 last I checked.

Not running, $300-$500.

It will likely need a clutch and brakes, as well as a battery, water pump, and who knows what else if it’s been sitting for a while.

I concur with the estimate of $2000 if in good running condition.

Might make an interesting project, if you are so inclined.

An expensive money pit if you have to pay someone to get it going.

I agree!
My '51 8N just sits, but it is is excellent condition, and it's kinda sweet, so my boys will have to decide what to do with it.
I do keep it hooked on to a back blade, for very occasional use.
