Looking at buying a nice used Bobcat snowblower, but lacking a wiring harness.

Anyone add a wiring harness to their Toolcat? Is it a big deal?

TIA

For my sb200 the wiring controls the blower shute direction and angle. So I would think you'd need it. Incidentally we are in central WI and I am looking to sell my SB200 if you are interested

Are you interested in a like-new 6' bobcat finish mower in trade?

Unfortunately no, now if it was a flail I'd be very interested. Or a post pounder.

The wiring harness is simple to install assuming that the controller board is on the blower. There are two modular connectors at the blower side that plug into the controller board on the blower and the other end connects at the boom. If not you will need to purchase the controller board and 7 pin harness. I converted a different make of blower some years back without any issues. At the time if memory serves me the cost was just under $1,000.00. Strangely enough, someone recently stole the 7 Pin Harness from one of my TC's and I was quite surprised that the price had come down from just under $400 to just under $230.00. Hope this helps...
