Anyone have a 17 super duty?

Are you in the artic? Driving 80 mph today on flat ground cruise set mine was at 235. No trailer. My truck is a 450 and has a flatbed so it is probably close to 10 k empty with the weight of the bed, air compressor, transfer tank, etc.

MPG I see are around 14 empty - again heavy truck.

Grossing 38kish, I'm at 235 trans and 220-225 water. Don't know why it's so warm. Trans actually is lower in town driving than when the TC is locked on the highway. Doesn't make a bit of sense to me

The trannies run hot it seems, as compared to my old 6.0 with the 5r110. I see 220 plus regularly, it took a while to get use to it. The old ones could run all day with a load and never see above 170.

I guess that is how there engineered now...
