Anyone got an opinion??? on a Ford 5610?

Hi Guys, Am looking at a 98 Ford 5610 with a couple thousand hours on it. The tractor plus a 3 pt backhoe, 777 loader, n a few other goodies for 20 k. Anyone have any experience with this beast??

If it is truly a 5610, it was built betwen 1981 and 1993. If it is a Mexican-built 5610S, it would be 1993 or newer. 777 Series loader production ended in 1988, so if the loader is original to the tractor (which may be difficult to determine) you are looking at a 1981-1988 5610.

Thnks Rick, there is no paperwork on the tractor and couldn't find a tag showing serial number or weither it was a s or not. It is from a small dealer that has a great reputation in the area so am sure it is not hot. How do I tell the yr or if it is a S or not? Loader is not original but was added later.

Thanks Boone, that did help. Was all set to run to Eugene today and plunk the money down............then found a Kubota L48 that will fill the bare minimum while the ford was overkill for what we need. Now in a quandry any input on a 05 L48 anyone?

Rick glad it did ! Was watching r5 Sons, Alaska Home Page Alaska other nite on dish and noticed they were running a L35 Bota(TLB).
