Anyone get a Tractor for Christmas.

The reason I ask is when I worked around the car business there were always extra cars sold during Christmas for delivery on Christmas... sometimes we would put a giant bow or the roof and do a home delivery and all the neighbors would come out to see what Santa brought.

Maybe tractors are too utilitarian or personal to make good Christmas presents?

One of my neighbors did get his first ride on mower yesterday... his wife surprised him and he was more than pleased...

Probably already got my last tractor for Christmas - a scale model John Deere 4020 about 40+ years ago.

Bought my LS in Feb. 2014. It was a late Christmas present for 2013 and will continue to be a present for many more Christmas'

My brother ordered a new F250 Diesel after his wife said just do it... and then said how many Christmas days going forward will this cover?

End of year there was usually a surge in business deliveries to get it on the books before the end of the year.

My first tractor was a present to myself... and my best one so far.

My 2013 truck was also a Christmas present bought the end of Dec. 2012 so between the truck and tractor I guess I'm ahead if the game for presents.

My wife bought a L45 for my Christmas present in 2011. I had been looking at it for a while, I really wanted it bad but she kept telling me I did not need it, so I was thinking I would never get one. Dealer conspired with her and delivered it Christmas eve about 4pm. I saw the truck past by my house and I thought some lucky dog bought my L45 out from under me. It took a few minutes to sink in after he turned into my shop driveway that it was mine, I thought he was delivering to the wrong home.

Sometimes you just need to get your wife a tractor for HER Christmas. Maybe she will let you use it some . LOL My wife took possession of my skid steer once that I let her use it to cut down Russian olive trees with my tree saw ! I did not get to run it again until the trees were gone !
