Anyone experienced increased NO2 emissions on modern tractors with DPF?

Almost every tractor I've ever driven has had a vertical exhaust, only a few have had low one's. Some of those blew right in your face when hooking up things to the drawbar. My little Kioti has a low forward exhaust and hasn't irritated me yet.

The OEM exhaust on my old John Deere was one of those vertical ones that ended right about head level. My solution was to take a hacksaw to it and cut it off about 3" above the muffler. Then I bought an exhaust extension pipe about 3' long that slips snugly down over that 3" stub. So now the exhaust exits way up over my head - and when I need to drive up under a low roof I just pull that extension pipe off.

Only low exhaust tractor I was ever involved with was the Ford 861 we had when I was growing up. That exhaust exited right near the drawbar behind the tractor.

Got about 10 hours on the tractor in the last couple of days. Either running it thru a manual DPF cleaning cycle helped or whatever stuff I had going on with my lungs cleared up. For now things seem to be fine again.
