ANYONE CONVERT A SOLID ROP TO FOLD

You will find plenty of folks here that'll tell you not to mess with the ROPS.
If you are in a real crisis on the issue, I would either see if there is a folding Kubota ROPS from another tractor, perhaps, that has a similar mounting scheme.
Or scrutinize a Kubota ROPS and have a modification done professionally by a local machine shop.
I only suggest this because this is a better alternative than having no ROPS at all, as it seems you have right now.

Well the stock L35 has a FOPS (Falling Object Protection System) which is four posts and a canopy to meet OHSA regulation on commercial job sites. I don’t see how it could be modified to fold. It may not be a concern to you but many dealers will not trade in a tractor that has had the ROPS or FOPS modified due to missing safety equipment being a liability.

Concur with Mr. Mark. I don't know how "integrated" the 4-post system is into the rest of the frame. You could somehow fashion something and keep the original system for later re-installation...
To me, it sounds most reasonable to leave the machine outside. Don't see many good options.

Thanks for all the information from everyone. I gained some insight from the many prospectives mentioned. Right now I have the ROPs off and I am working on flat land. I have been out to my property working on my landscaping. My front wheel axle is leaking and I have to get a new seal. I did the other side last year. I guess I will think on the ROPs awhile. The parking brake was jammed on my 35L wheb I purchased it so I want to get that fixed along with the seal. Thanks again.
