Snapper NXT - The Cutting Edge of Mower Technology

Just asking, I have no connection to the company other than I used to work at a place that sold RER's about 30 years ago.

I like the deck design where the 3 blades overlap.

I just bought an LT200 (2044) a couple of weeks ago BECAUSE of the NXT. I didn't like the nature of all the "features" of the new one and wanted the 200 before they were all gone. I just want to mow and blow with it...

I'd be interested in anyone's experiences with them though if anyone else has purchased one!

I work at a dealership that handles them, so far there have been very few issues with any of the electronic side of the machine. Other then a few of the elec deck lifts being inoperable right out of the crate (replaced under warranty) we havn't had any issues. I work in the shop and now in the showroom, they are a very hard sell as folks don't want to deal with the electronic side of them.

I sure do like the deck design. I wish I could try it out but my current rider will probably last another 15 years...

i bought a snapper nxt at the start of summer.It is the biggest model,27 hp w/52' deck. I have a very hilly yard so i had the tires loaded and chains put on.The mower is an absolute animal and far exceded my expectations for mowing and towing.

I've only seen one in person. The Snapper dealer sells Stihl equipment and I buy and get serviced all of my Stihl equipment by him because he's very reasonable and is a small engine shop that really does good work. He told me he rarely even sells any homeowner Snappers unless they are the rear engine version. Other than that he sells lots of the Snapper pro zero turns. The NXT is a nice looking mower though. I can't help but think of rear engines and handle bars when I think of Snappers though.

Working at a dealership, I've seen a lot of these now with some hours on them. Belt alignment issues, cheap bearings on the deck, many falling apart hoods. I don't think they spent much R&D money on them.
