Shredded a tire this morning with my stock tires pulling my excavator. Not much of a shoulder and people and semis flew by wile changing it. Not fun…this time every steel wire in the tire wrapped around the inner hub. Took 20 minutes to cut all that out, and i had to repair my brake wires.
A dealer close stocks the trans eagle 16 ply. Curious if they’re any good.

I don’t know that name, I am running Double Coins - very good so far.
You replacing all or just the one?

I replaced the tires on my rear axle on my dump yesterday. I needed one real bad so I was not picky. I bought what they had, Advanta, I have never used them but I had heard of them. I was not going to run around looking for something I was more used to. 235/75x17.5 16 ply $600 out the door.

All.
And these will be about $800 mounted/balanced, plus $80 for new rim.
