Anybody here able to bend me a exhaust stack?

I am wanting to put a verticle exhaust on my little Kubota B6000. You cannot rotate the muffler like on later models, so it needs to have a quick 90' bend upwards, go up like 3 feet to a nice turnout like you see on other Kubota's that have a factory stack. None of the local muff shops have the right pipe size or are willing to mess with it. I am willing to reimburse for time and materials. Thanks Mike T

I bend mine all the time on branches , give me a lend of your tractor and i'll do the same for you . ha ha .

If the muffler shop won't do it, look for welding and/or fab shops. If someone has an "Ironworker" you'll be all set. Pretty common fab equipment.

Don't know if they have the size that you need. Do a google search for hooker headers and they sell pipe bends. Looks like 1 5/8 is the smallest size that they list. big dan

What size do you need? I've used prebent EMT from Home Depot/Lowes to fab up small stuff. I also bought my own bender to bend what I want from many common sizes- I've seen them as low as $70 on sale-

Big Dan beat me to it. Check Summit or Jegs, they sell mandrel bent pieces in their exhaust section.

I have used conduit before. Whats ID and OD of your pipe?

I will measure the pipe size today, we just brought the tractor home last night. I think that EMT conduit would be about the right size. I know the stuff at the local auto store is to large. A 4' piece of conduit would probably be about right once a nice 90' bend was put at the one end. I will post the pipe size in a bit, just got up and eating breakfast now. PS, I live in Erie PA. There is a company, Speedway motors, and others that sell prebent exhaust pipe. It comes in all sizes, 90, 180 bends. Search the web.
