Anybody have a Massey 50?

A fellow I know has one and he bought a new oil filter for the transmission-differental but can't figure out where the filter is located. I told him I would ask around and try to find out. Thanks for any help.

I am assuming this is a Ag tractor, there is an industrial MF 50, but anyway the filter you have should be a metal screen, about 4" long. It is a suction screen that mounts on the top of the Ferguson lift pump in the rear differential. There is two round inspection covers on the sides on the differential. Remove the one on the left hand side, and you should see the filter standing upright on the top of the pump. It could have a metal hood on the top of it that unscrews, if so the filter comes out after removing
