Hello,

I want to order a WR Long True 3rd Function Control Kit for my Kubota L3240 and LA724 Loader, Are there any dealers for WR Long that could order it for me? or anyone have a dealer that they would recommend to order one.

Thanks!
Steve

I would contact WR Long and ask them to give you a list of dealers in your area. That's what I did. The local Kubota dealer was on their approved vendor list so I went to them and they ordered for me. There were others in the area, but were closest. They had no problem doing that.
Here's Nelson's information:

I spoke with Nelson already, just seeing if there is someone on here that I could support.

Thanks!

Doesn't Kubota offer a "factory" 3rd function kit for the new Grand L 40 series tractors? Is the WR Long kit cheaper?

The Kubota Kit is $950 installed, the WR Long retails for $571 + $95 for the front QD plate, I have the instructions for installing the Kubota and it's a MAJOR undertaking, the WR Long kit looks very easy to install.

Try Carver Equipment out of Dunn, NC. They are a sponsor of the Kubota forum and a WR Long dealer. I ordered my WR Long tooth bar from them. Here is their website link Carver Equipment Introduction

I don't know how handy you are, but if you're contemplating installing Long's kit yourself anyway, the alternative is to buy separate components and hoses etc. They are sold by companies that advertise on here as well.
On my first set of grapples, I used the WR Long kit, or at least a part of it. But for installation on my wife's Jinma, I got all the components separately and saved quite a bit of $$. They do exactly the same thing, getting a true third function feature for her grapple install.
Here is a link for her grapple install. All the components are detailed out with cost and where to get them. You may not need all the parts listed, such as a joystick?

That is what I will do next time. Electric hydraulic is a worthwhile upgrade over a diverter valve IMO.

I got the kubota kit installed when I purchased the tractor. The dealer said it took them over 6 hours to install and that he would try and push the WRlong kit over the Kubota for the next person. The Kubota kit is hardlined and nicer in my and his opinion but it's a pain to install.

I spoke with Nelson already....

Hey, Steve.....have you committed to the Long diverter?

I got some emails from Nelson Long also....he was very helpful in my quest
to get pricing and a distributor for their 4 in 1 bucket. Unfortunately, after
calling the various distis, I could not even get a firm quotation with
shipping.

Now I found and bought the bkt I want from an Ebay seller. It has the
Long diverter ($600!! list) and I am not sure I will use it.

Well, I got my WRLong HJ2-60 4 in 1 bucket yesterday. It came with
a manual open center spool valve and not the 12v diverter. I prob
will not be using this valve.

I plan to convert this bkt to work on my Kioti, so I will start a new thread
if I decide to post about it.
