Here is a pic of a 1980 JD 214 I restored several years ago. I also restored a 212.
70s vintage McCulloch Super Pro 80 chainsaw I did about 10 years ago now. I have lots of old Macs, some restored, some original. I’m slowly thinning the herd, need money for more groundsmasters
1975 JD 300 I restored. Sadly, all of my JD equipment is now sold.
My most recent restorations were a Ford (Shibaura) 1210 and 1510. Great little tractors, although parts are getting hard to find.
Sorry for the off topic post...back to the Groundsmaster!
Hoping to get some paint shot today if I can get this blasted rain to stop.
While working on the last caster wheel the bearings fell out in a pile of pieces....soooo...looks like I need to order bearings. Figured while I’m ordering parts I would do one of the rear caster wheels also, as their condition was questionable.
This is my new to me 325 with 2900 hours. Will be doing a complete service and inspection on it.
I wanted to check the full throttle rpm before I tore it apart for service. Spec per the manual is 3200 +or- 50 so it’s within spec. I’d maybe like to squeeze out an extra 50 or so, will see how she looks after valve adjustments, and fuel filter changes.
Pulled the seat to replace the seat suspension because it didn’t work.
You can see why it didn’t work here, the rear cross shaft had fallen out. The front cross shaft had broke clean off, and the spring tension adjuster was seized.
I decided to just install a new suspension kit instead of messing with the old one. This one works great and fit beautifully.
