any TANK users here?

i've been using a husqie ZTM 48/17 for the past 5 years and have had great service from it... can't complain a bit... but it just wasn't heavy duty enuff to take the beating we give mowers here on the farm...

i use a finish mower to do most of the mowing, but i like the Z's to mow around the barns, sheds, and along fences...

this time around, we got the cub cadet tank with the 48" deck and 23 hp kawasaki engine... it looks pretty durable and rides good...

i'm wondering if anyone else is using one and can clue me in on what to watch for...

i know one thing... it doesn't do well in mud got it stuck today and had to walk out and get my wrangler to winch the mower out of the mud...

sort of hit the wet spot and stopped moving just started spinning...

the husquie was pretty bad about that, but it was light enuff i could usually push it out... this one weighs in a little over 900 lbs without a rider...

i really like the cub so far though... your thoughts?

nworbekim, Well I don't actually have the Cubcadet name I have the sister to yours .. Its a Lesco commercial Ztwo 60" 25hp.. I have had it for going on 4yrs. now and I like it just fine.

I am pretty handy with a wrench so my neighbors asked me to give their gravely Z2250 mower (22hp 50" cut) a spring tune up and I noticed it was a pretty nice machine but it was night and day difference between the Lesco/Cub units... After completeing the Gravely I jumped on my Ztwo and notice how much nicer driving and much more comfortable the Ztwo was So, yeah you have a good machine that will give you good service. it will cut your mowing time to a minimum

i really did look for a lesco, but the nearest dealer is 70 miles away... the nearest cub dealer is 30...

i've mowed a bit over 5 hours now, need to change out the break-in oil... started on it yesterday afternoon, but my manual isn't too clear on where things are, so i thought i'd run by the dealer in the morning and get some orientation....
