Howdy,
Hows the snow on the east coast? Anyone get some tractor time? /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

I must say I'm a little jealous, more seat time with 2ft on the ground! /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Hope everyone came out ok, and they had a fun time snow plowing etc.. Post your pics if you have some, I'm sure other TBN'ers would like to see some action shots. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

here's one..
The 670 was stuck on ice under the snow (ice was from the snow from a few weeks ago)

Roy, did you try to use the FEL to push yourself back out?

Don't have any pics but we did get near 2ft of snow in Caldwell, Ohio. Put the old John Deere 318 to work pushing snow with 4ft front hydralic blade. Only had a couple problems, first the tractor wouldn't go that good even with chains on, And second thing was I ran out of places to put the snow, but did manage to make a couple nice 4ft high piles by using the blade pushing into the pile and raiseing the blade as i go.

I think it's called a shovel (pronounced sha-val). I use 'em now and then...

As far as using the FEL to push out, I did...there and several other places, including my neighbor's place.

Boy, this was tough clearing job. That little 670 is a great tractor, but it's one of those few times I wish it was bigger.

Well, ya have to excuse me...gonna resting my achin' old bones for a bit.

Here's some from Ohio. Have 16" so far during this so called storm. Nothing like the guys in NY or PA get, but it's a lot for us.

Did all the snow clearing with a 2WD Yanmar and a back blade.
