I'm looking for used but some of the ones I have been looking at are in no particular order, Massey 1533, Kioti CK or DK35, Case DX31 of DX33, Bobcat CT235. This is the size/HP range I'm looking at. I would like to see an LS but no dealer near me, definitely no used. I'm not really understanding their model number designations but I think a similar LS would be XR3037C but I don't really want to pay for a cab, maybe LS LT360HST.
Any other suggestions.

When buying used, you can't really ignore Deere and Kubota. There are so many out there due to market share.

With LS, "R" indicates the model series, the first "30" indicates the size within the series, "39" indicates the HP rating.

Also, if there's an "H" or "C" after the numbers, that means Hydrostat, and Cab.

The small ones are the J series.
The next size up "value" line are the G series.
The R series are the full sized compacts.
The U series are the next sized up utility machines.
The P series are their largest line.

For 2014, the tier 4 tractors are rolling out, and they stuck an "X" in front to indicate that.

Not ignoring Kubota at all. I think maybe an L3130 or any of the 30-35hp Grand series because I want a heavier tractor. I would buy a Deere if it was the right price. As you know they hold their value very well.
Forgot to mention I found a new Bobcat CT235 with a cab. That would be nice except for the $25k price.

Keep in mind, the Bobcat tractors are white Kioti's (both made by Daedong). That build contract is over and there will be no more Bobcat tractors as of now.

There will be many more used Kubota, Deere, and New Holland tractors out there because of sheer volume. There may be deals to find out there, but people expect more money too.

You're not really finding used LS because they've only been selling them as LS for a few years, however, LS used to sell as Montana, and I've seen some pretty sweet deals on those. Check the classifieds here, there was a guy trying to sell his 40'ish HP Montana, might still be there.

I've seen a few Montana tractors on Craigslist but I had no idea of their origin or quality. I will take a second look. Thanks for the heads up.
