I have dealt with 5 different NH dealers in GA and AL. None of them have really impressed me too much. I will give you a brief run down of the 5. Keep in mind these are my observations. Other people may have different experiences with each.
Oxford AL- good friendly folks. He is also Kubota dealer, really pushed Kubota and didn't really want to deal on a NH. He probably had 50 Kubotas to maybe 7 NH is stock. Gave me pretty good quotes on implements. He gave me the best quote of anybody on a Kubota 3130. Ask for Rusty.
Lithonia GA-very arrogant. If your not spending 50K he doesn't want to deal with you. He is also Kubota and NH. Has maybe 20 NH tractors in stock. I'll never go back there for anything.
Gasden AL-Very friendy, nice family run business. Also another Kubota and NH dealer. His prices were the highest of all. He had every model of NH tractor from a TC-18 all the way up to a T? -100 lined up right next to each other. If you want to compare sizes or features this is the place to visit. Expensive on everything. He also has every size Kubota from a BX-23 up to a L-3830 lined up side by side. Very impressive to see all the blue on one side and all the orange on the other.
Griffin GA- Very large dealership. They carry Kubota, NH Ag, NH construction ( skid steer & backhoes ),
chipper-shredders, generators, ATV's, etc. They have allot of bigger tractors, ones up over the 65 HP range. Their prices run hot and cold on any given day. They do have the best parts and service department in the area, and a good selection of tractors. If you need a NH part Tammy in their parts dept. will find it. They have numerous salesman, Marvin seems to be the best one to deal with.
Newnan GA- small dealership. The best prices of any NH dealer I visited. He has a fair selection of 18 to 45 HP tractors. The only problem with this place is the guy who runs it (Phil) is a one man show. He does everything, sales, parts and service. He is stretched so thin he can't do anything well. A really nice guy, and is good to deal with but one person can only do so much. On Saturday morning's I've seen customer's lined up 4 deep waiting to speak to him. I would definetly give him a visit, just be prepared to wait and be patient. He will deal with you on price. He was one of the few who really wanted to sell a tractor.
These were my observations taken about this time one year ago. I was actually shopping for a NH TC-30, TC-33 or Kubota 3130. I wound up finding a deal on a NH TC-35 D with 85 hours on it.
If you want more info shoot me a PM.
Good luck !
