I have a more detailed post in the general forum looking for comparisons of an MF4707 against an M5.
I don't know anyone who actually owns or uses a Kubota M5 so, this is a bit of a blind potential purchase for me. I need enough tractor weight for good ground engagement and occasional heavy lifts (think pallet of concrete or steel once a year) with normal loader work being a primary use as well as a rotary mower in a rough pasture.
I have mixed feelings about a cab versus an open station so, comments there about things like sightlines and user comfort in strong sun (heat and glare) or winter ops with things like glass fogging in a cab would be appreciated.
TIA,
Sid
p.s. For dealer support, Kubota and John Deere are the only viable long term options. The main MF dealer closed shop and New Holland dealer support is there but, weak. Random CASE/IH and Mahindra dealers aren't really viable to me.
